We are living through a period marked by deepening imperialist wars, authoritarianism, and social inequalities, in which war, poverty, displacement, and ecological destruction affect women\u2019s lives with particular severity. Rising war policies across different parts of the world are reshaping not only borders and regimes, but also women\u2019s labour, lives, rights, and conditions of struggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 31 October 2026 in Adana, we will come together at the symposium \u201cIn Search of International Feminist Struggles Against Imperialist War\u201d to discuss, from a feminist perspective, the current landscape created by capitalism and the crisis of imperialist hegemony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Across different geographies extending from T\u00fcrkiye to the Middle East, we will address the rise of fascism and the construction of new regimes, the effects of war on women\u2019s labour and lives, the struggle for secularism, ecological destruction, occupation, and displacement, together with women\u2019s experiences of struggle. By bringing together the voices and struggles of women from T\u00fcrkiye, Syria, Iran, Palestine, Egypt, and Cyprus, we will discuss the possibilities of building a shared and international feminist struggle against imperialist war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The symposium\u2019s sessions, speakers, and detailed programme are presented below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
