We are living through a period marked by deepening imperialist wars, authoritarianism, and social inequalities, in which war, poverty, displacement, and ecological destruction affect women\u2019s lives with particular severity. The policies of war unfolding across different regions of the world are reshaping not only borders and political regimes, but also women\u2019s labor, lives, rights, and conditions of struggle. As Mor Dayan\u0131\u015fma, we are coming together at the symposium \u201cIn Search of International Feminist Struggles Against Imperialist War\u201d to discuss the current crisis of capitalism and imperialist hegemony from a feminist perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the symposium, to be held in Adana on 31 October 2026, we will bring together experiences extending from Turkey to the Middle East and discuss the rise of fascism and the construction of new regimes, the effects of war on women\u2019s labor and lives, struggles for secularism, ecological destruction, occupation, and displacement through the experiences of women\u2019s resistance. Bringing together the voices and struggles of women from Turkey, Syria, Iran, Palestine, Egypt, and Cyprus, we invite everyone to join us in discussing the possibilities of building a shared and international feminist struggle against imperialist war.
